Mission Statement
Battenkill Community Services will assist individuals with developmental disabilities who live in the Southern Washington County region to experience and pursue meaningful activities within their own rural and village communities. Battenkill Community Services will help individuals with disabilities learn the skills and get the supports necessary to pursue their interests and aspirations and to become more independent. Battenkill Community Services will work to promote inclusion of participants in local community life and concurrently will work to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with developmental disabilities.
